The area... This stylish "loft" apartment rental is located in the best part of the Gothic Quarter. The area, known as El Born or La Ribera has its own special atmosphere, full of narrow, winding streets.

It´s renowned for its great variety of charming restaurants, offering quality "tapas", Mediterranean cuisine, the best seafood in town. There are also plenty of bars with their own "terrazas".

The locals and a handful of tourists know the right places to be in and give El Born its modern, artistic and cosmopolitan Barcelona atmosphere.

In just a few streets, you will find art galleries, artists studios, designer shops and museums such as the Picasso and Textile Museums.

The apartment is next to the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar (Barcelona´s most beautiful, in my opinion) and a 10 minute walk to Barcelona´s Cathedral.

This gives you an idea of the atmosphere of the area, but the location itself is unbeatable!

Overlooking a pedestrian street (2 balconies) and in front of a tree filled square with a fountain,

the apartment is 5 minutes from the harbour in the Barceloneta area, and continuing straight on, a 10 minute walk to the beach. Las Ramblas is to your right and the leafy tranquillity of La Ciutadella Park is 5 minutes to your left.

The apartment...the 100 m2 is something of a luxury in the old city, where most apartments are actually quite small.
The 45m2 living area is airy and spacious with large, wooden, shuttered windows, wooden floors, high beamed ceilings and two outward-facing balconies. Its mixture of modern and antique furnishings provide for stylish and comfortable living.


The fully equipped kitchen is cool and minimalist, finished in white, steel and marble.

The master bedroom (20m2) with custom built dressing room and bathroom, both finished in cherry wood, is located in the interior part of the apartment.

The bedroom window looks onto the "patio", provides good ventilation and is very quiet. The bedroom is also air-conditioned, so a good night's sleep guaranteed! Generally, the interior canopied "patio" and balconies keep the apartment fresh and airy.

Booking deposit 30% payable upon confirmation / contract date.
