This attractive south-facing Villa is situated in a quiet residential location.
The Villa is accessed via a gated entrance
leading into a stone covered driveway, which has sufficient parking space for
three cars. The Villa has spacious
accommodation, is tastefully furnished and well equipped to ensure a
comfortable and pleasurable stay. The
gardens and shared swimming pools are fully maintained on a regular basis.
The 40 ft x 20 ft main swimming pool has "Roman" steps leading into the shallow
end, the pool descends to a depth
of over nine feet at the deep end.
Our villa is in the beautiful foothills of the Montgó National Reserve
The property is laid out onto three levels, which have been joined by an
elegant wrought iron spiral staircase.
From the living room the patio doors lead to a covered naya and large decking
area, overlooking the two shared
swimming pools.
There is a 10-feet diameter pool, which is ideal for infants as it is only 18
ins in depth. There is
also a poolside shower for your convenience. Beautiful mature palm trees
surround both pools which are
surrounded by a lawned area for children to play. There are ample sun loungers
at the Villa, which ensure you are
able to enjoy the sun in comfort all day, or indeed move into the shade of the
palms or the covered naya. There is a
built-in BBQ area for cooking. Also there is a large 10-seater table and chairs
which is ideally located on the
covered decking area for enjoying those al fresco meals in the warm Spanish
evenings.
On the ground floor you will find the majority of the accommodation; the Master
bedroom is spacious and light,
benefiting from having windows on two of its walls. There is an extensive range
of built-in wardrobes comprising
quadruple hanging space as well as three double width built-in drawers. Also
there is a beautifully styled
traditional looking dressing table and mirror. This bedroom's en-suite bathroom
includes a bidet, toilet, bath as
well as a shower.
A feature of note for all of the double bedrooms is their beds, they are all
super-kingsize bedsteads which are six
feet wide and six feet six inches long, very comfortable and ideal for keeping
cool during the warm Spanish nights.
The second double bedroom is on the lower level. This spacious room has ample
wardrobe and drawer space which
have been made to a traditional Spanish design. Additionally there are bedside
cabinets and a large chest of drawers.
Immediately adjacent to this bedroom is a luxury fitted shower-room. Also on
this level there is a second lounge area,
which can be used as a dedicated area for children if desired.
The third double bedroom is in a self-contained annexe attached to the Villa,
which is accessed via its own entrance
adjacent to the back door of the Villa. This is a large double aspect room,
again benefiting from windows on two of
its walls, which are complemented by a high vaulted ceiling. There is a large
double wardrobe, which again is made
to a traditional Spanish design; additionally there are bedside cabinets and a
large chest of drawers. Additionally,
for the exclusive use of the occupants of this room, there is a
thermostatically controlled air-conditioning system,
which provides cooling or warm air for year-round comfort. This bedroom has its
own luxury en-suite shower-room
that is accessed directly from the bedroom.
The first twin bedroom is adjacent to the Master bedroom and shares its
en-suite bathroom facilities, but is
accessed via a second lockable door. This sunny south-facing bedroom has a high
vaulted ceiling, in addition, there
are two single bedsteads that are styled to a typical Spanish design, adding an
air of a traditional feel to the room.
Furthermore there are bedside cabinets and a double built-in wardrobe, which
includes a 3-drawer chest.
The second twin bedroom is on the upper level. This room is more suited to
children, due to its sloping roofline.
Nevertheless, this room is amply proportioned and benefits from having a
walk-in wardrobe and its own terrace.
The terrace has waist high parapets and wrought iron railings, so is
sufficiently safe for younger children. There is
also an air-conditioning unit for use with this room.
The kitchen is well appointed with modern appliances comprising dishwasher,
washing machine, large
fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and 4-slice toaster. Also, there is a 4-ring
gas hob and full size electric oven and
grill. In the dining room, next to the kitchen, there is a large dining table
and chairs which have been made to
typical Spanish design.
Off the dining area is the spacious living room, which benefits from having
windows on three of the walls. Aiding
this room's feeling of space is a vaulted ceiling and double glass patio doors
leading out onto the garden. There is a
2-seater and 3-seater sofa to relax in or to watch the 28" wide flat screen TV.
There is a Sky satellite system
offering a wide range of UK Sky TV channels, including most Kids, Sky Movies
and Sky Sports channels. A lot of UK
radio stations are also available via the Sky system, which can be listened to
via the stereo sound of the TV. Also
there is an open fireplace which serves to provide the main focus for this
room. There is a large thermostatically
controlled air-conditioning system, which provides cooling or warm air for most
of the accommodation on the
ground level, as well as the bedroom on the upper level. The upstairs terrace
is an ideal vantage point to watch the
Mediterranean sunsets as it overlooks Dénia old town as well as sea views
beyond.

Although beaches, shops and restaurants are all within a five minute drive of
Villa Montaña, we suggest you hire a
car, not only for transfers from Alicante or Valencia airports but also for
exploring further afield.
